Olympus SC1 Barcode Scanner Module for DS-5000 and DS-5000iD

The SC-1 Barcode Scanner Module enables automatic allocation of voice files to unique client, patient or case records. Linking dictations directly to records guarantees conclusive and secure identification, eliminates the potential for typing errors and boosts workflow efficiency, cost effectiveness and accuracy.

The SC-1 Barcode Scanner Module has been specifically designed for use with the DS-5000ID and DS-5000 attaching to the SD slot on top of the dictation device.

BARCODE COMPATABILITY
The SC-1 is compatible with a wide variety of common barcode types: EAN-8. EAN-13, EAN-128, UPC-A, UPC-E, Code 39, Code 93, Code 128, Codabar, MSI, Interleaved 2 of 5, RSS-14, RSS-Limited, RSS-Expanded.

READ BARCODES, SHORT OR LONG
The SC-1 will scan barcodes up to 30 digits in length.

AN IMPRESSIVE WORKING RANGE
The SC-1 is able to scan barcodes as far away as 25cm (10 in).

BATCH SCANNING AND WORKFLOW OPTIONS
Batch scanning and further workflow options together with ODMS software.
