Shipping & Returns

If you need to return an item, simply login to your account, view the order using the "Complete Orders" link under the My Account menu and click the Return Item(s) button. We'll notify you via e-mail of your refund once we've received and processed the returned item.

Returns Policy

At Rees Electronics, we want to make sure you are completely satisfied with your order. However, if you are unhappy with your purchase, you have 14 days (from order receipt) to return the purchased item(s).

Returned items will be subject to either exchange or full / partial refund of the original price. Refunds will be given once we receive the to-be returned item(s), it can take up to 10 days for the credit to appear on your credit card statement.

Returns & Exchanges Conditions:

  • All opened software products are not returnable.
  • Returns are subject to a 15% restocking fee.
  • Returned or exchanged items must be in new condition, in their original box, and must include all packing material, manuals, and all accessories.
  • Additional fees may apply based on condition of returned item(s) and time of return.
  • Missing and damaged items must be reported within 3 days of order receipt.
  • Customer is responsible for shipping charges on returns.
  • Defective items may be repaired or exchanged at our discretion for the same model or manufacturer's equivalent model.
  • Manufacturer's warranties are processed by the manufacturer.

We cannot return or exchange:

  • TVs, combos and monitors 37" and larger once opened.
  • Consumable items such as film, tapes, paper, bulbs, CD, DVDs, once opened.
  • For copyright reasons, computers, hardware and all products with licensed software are not returnable.
  • Any computers built or modified by Rees Electronics.
  • Special Order Items.
  • Educational tapes, DVDs, and books once opened.


How to return or exchange an item:

RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) number is required prior to returning the item(s).

To obtain a Return Authorization Number (RMA) by phone, please call our Customer Service at 877.340.9865

Place the original packaged item in a secure shipping box.

The RMA number must be legible and written clearly on the outer shipping box.

If you have received a Return Shipping Label, please print it and place it or tape it on the outer shipping box.

Proceed to shipping the Insured packaged to our return address below, we are not responsible for lost or damaged items.

Shipping Policy

GENERAL SHIPPING POLICY:
Our shipping charges are based on standard UPS (where applicable), which are based on package weight, size, and distance shipped. To preview the shipping charges, enter the items you want to order into your shopping cart. When you are done, click on "save changes, go to check out." Enter your zip code, then click on "save changes, show new total." This will display all available shipping costs.

Rees Electronics offers UPS Ground, 3rd Day Select, 2nd Day Air, and Next Day Air shipping to all of our customers who place orders to be shipped to one of the 48 contiguous United States.

To help keep shipping costs as low as possible, we use UPS Hundredweight shipping for orders over 100 lbs. for 2nd Day and Next Day shipping, and over 200 lbs. For Ground and 3rd Day. This reduced shipping rate is calculated automatically when an order reaches the appropriate weight.

Orders to be shipped out of the 48 contiguous United States (i.e. Alaska and Hawaii) are sent by your choice of US Priority Mail, UPS 2nd Day Air, or UPS Next Day Air delivery. These orders are not eligible for UPS Ground or 3rd Day Select shipping. If you choose Priority Mail, unfortunately, there is no way to track the order in transit.
We also ship to A.P.O. addresses via US Priority Mail only.

DELIVERY AND LEAD TIME:

Since UPS does not ship on Saturdays or Sundays (even for express shipping), the actual delivery date may differ from the estimated transit time. For example: A Next Day Air order, leaving our warehouse on a Friday for New York, will not arrive until Monday, even though it has a one day transit time.

Ground shipping:
Orders for items that are in stock are usually shipped within 48 hours, excluding weekends and holidays. Barring exceptions, these orders ship out Monday through Friday at around 4:30 pm.

Express shipping (Next Day, 2nd Day, 3rd Day):
These orders are given top priority. Express orders for items that are in stock are usually shipped within 24 hours, excluding weekends. Barring exceptions, these orders ship out Monday through Friday at around 2:30 PM PST. If an express order is placed before 12 PM, it will usually ship out that same day.

We can ship to virtually any address in the United States. Note that there are restrictions on some products, and some products cannot be shipped to international destinations.

When you place an order, we will estimate shipping and delivery dates for you based on the availability of your items and the shipping options you choose. Depending on the shipping provider you choose, shipping date estimates may appear on the shipping quotes page.

Please also note that the shipping rates for many items we sell are weight-based. The weight of any such item can be found on its detail page. To reflect the policies of the shipping companies we use, all weights will be rounded up to the next full pound.

Payment Acceptance

We accept all major credit card payments including Visa, MasterCard and American Express, as well as PayPal for your convenience and quick check out process.
