You understand the time-saving nature of dictation. It's the reason you tried Dragon in the first place. But that's child's play when compared to the time you'll save when usig Dragon's new advanced custom commands. You'll be blown away!
In addition to creating custom voice commands to insert frequently-used text and graphics, you can now quickly and easily create macros to automate simply workflows or multi-step business process via simple voice commands. For example, you can send an email to your sales distribution list, copy senior management, and print a hard copy for your files by simply saying, “Send standard sales distro email.” Boom. Five minutes of work done in five words.
Easily our most significant innovation in decades, Dragon Anywhere is a separate cloud-based, professional-grade dictation solution providing continuous dictation capabilities. It lets you create and edit documents of any length by voice - using your own customized vocabularies, shortcut and commands – directly on your iOS or Android device. And it's amazing!
Dragon Professional Individual represents the first generation of Dragon desktop applications to integrate seamlessly with Dragon Anywhere. Now your documents and customizations can be synced with your mobile devices for seamless productivity wherever your job takes you.
More great news. New
Dragon Professional Individual will accurately transcribe another
single speaker's voice from pre-recorded audio files or from
podcasts, requiring only a 90-second audio clip to generate the
necessary profile. Now it's a breeze to create a written transcript
of that keynote speech which impressed you so much.
Dragon Professional Individual will also save synchronized audio from dictation done in certain applications along with the transcript for deferred correction. This is handy with the new Auto Transcribe Folder Agent which will monitor a specific directory to automatically launch transcription and send you an email notification when a transcription is complete. Powerful stuff.
Greater Flexibility means more personalized performance.
With each subsequent
release of Dragon, we focus on a handful of areas where we can make
measurable improvements to your Dragon user experience. The last
release of Dragon sported a redesigned and enhanced user interface
which features the newly designed DragonBar.
Dragon Professional Individual makes it easier than ever to use all Dragon commands when dictating and editing text in any non-standard window thanks to a newly designed Dictation Box. Dragon's ease of use is further enhanced with additional help being offered when you ask, “what can I say.” These new features and more make using the new Dragon Professional Individual as easy as pie. And easy is good.
Using Dragon is a
very personal experience. From the word “go,” Dragon is learning
the way you speak and familiarizing itself with your unique
vocabulary and phrases from your email and documents. New advanced
administration tools take your Dragon personalization to the next
level.
You now have the ability to quickly and easily import and export custom commands in the Command Browser. Dragon also makes it easy to have multiple vocabularies with the ability to import/export them. It incorporates security features for custom commands including support for protected commands. It even makes it easy to obtain a recognition log file in the event you need rich, objective usage data.
Providing
accessibility for challenged or disabled individuals has always been
a primary function of Dragon software and something for which we are
very proud. Section 508 is a federal law mandating that all
electronics and information technology developed, procured,
maintained, or used by the federal government be accessible to people
with disabilities.
Unlike previous Dragon consumer releases, Dragon professional Individual will help you to meet your accessibility compliance goals, such as conformance with Section 508 standard. Dragon Professional Individual is vital in helping to eliminate barriers for individual workers with disabilities that may limit their ability to use a keyboard and mouse.
